PRAYER IS THE GREATEST WEAPON ON EARTH - QUEEN IKENCHWUKU

It has been asserted that
prayer is the greatest weapon on earth. The Honourable Commissioner for Women
Affairs, Community and Social Development, Queen Victoria Ikenchwuku stated
this during the gathering of Ika South Women Prayer Group at Liberty Gospel
Power Mission, Agbor on Sunday, January 24, 2010.
Queen Ikenchwuku said that
it was time the people of Ika South, especially the Christians focus on prayers
for the peace and development of the local government area, adding that prayer
works miracle which can transform a people and their environment.
The honourable commissioner
admonished the people of Ika South to imbibe the right thinking and cultivate
good behavour even as she charged them to do away with thoughts that are not of
God, so that they can be good vessels for God to use to restore Ika South to
where He wants it to be. She equally charged the women to make the prayer
programme a priority and be fully committed to it.
Queen Ikenchwuku praised the
administrative success of the state governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan and prayed
for God’s continued sustenance for him and all sons and daughters of Ika South
in government. She noted that Ika South was experiencing restoration which she
said was being facilitated by the governor.
In his brief remark, Rev.
Samuel Okoh, the chairman Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Ika South
chapter stressed that the power of God was already at work as women according
to him always pray with compassion. He said he was believing God that all good
minded women in Ika South will get involved in the prayer programme, adding
that a structure of leadership will soon be put in place for the group. He
commended the Queen Mother for her commitment to the rejuvenation of Ika South,
saying “never have we had it this way in Ikaland as the Queen Mother is leading
the way for the restoration of the land.” Hepromised that the ministers of God will stand with her, especially in
prayers.

Igbodo of Job Orphanage, Agbor.
