Nduka Irabor Loses Father

Pa George Irabor, father of Chief Nduka Irabor has died. Pa Irabor died on Monday, January 25, 2010 in his country home, Owa-Oyibu, Delta State.

He was in his 90s. Traditional and rites of passage for the departed Irabor have since been completed.
A statement by Nduka Irabor said, the final rites of passage for the departed Irabor will take place from February 26 to 28, 2010.
Baba, as he was fondly called by friends, admirers and even his children was the proprietor of the famous “Love The Neighbour” fleet of trucks that traversed the Old Western and Midwestern regions promoting commerce while running a thriving motor spare parts shop in Mission Road in Benin City.

A veteran of World War 11, Irabor served with the West African Frontier Force (WAFF) in the Far East Front.
Besides his war exploits, he was also a Sports enthusiasts and a major stakeholder of the Benin Amateur Football Association.
 He is survived by his wife, Justina, nee Omire-Okoh of Owa-Alizomor, 14 sons and daughters, and many grand children.
